Time for a trip into the past to see what really occurred during the ill-fated Solaris Project, and the results are not pretty to say the least. I mean, unless monsters running loose around a laboratory counts as pretty to you.

One thing that I immediately noticed while playing this stage is that everything has this grayish tone, something that isn't present in Sonic's version of the stage. I think that's supposed to convey that we're in the past. Silver's version of the stage will probably have the same thing.

And just like Sonic's Aquatic Base, you can gain the 50,000 points needed off of enemy kills alone, so I wasn't too worried about my ring bonus tbh. Especially because I find it real easy to get hit when playing as Silver. Man, S ranking his stages is gonna be a nightmare... Well, except for Blaze's Wave Ocean, but we'll have to wait a while until that gets released.
