There really isn't a whole lot to talk about regarding this level that wasn't already talked about in Sonic's version. Though one change you might notice is the grind rail switching. In the previous builds, rail switching was done with a stick tap like in Colors. Now it's a tilt and jump rail switch like in the Adventure-era games. I personally didn't have a problem with tab jumping but I guess people just wanted the Adventure controls since that is what it was supposed to be. As long as the rail switching actually works unlike the jank that plagues Adventure 2 and Heroes, I am fine with it.

If anything, I really feel there needs to be a way to increase grinding speed because it's really noticeable in this level. Since the characters already have an animation for the 360 spin where they jump twice, I think that can be repurposed to a proper speed boost. Make it so holding the speed up button makes them do the first jump and go into a reverse grind stance. While reverse grinding, you move much faster then usual and letting go will do the second half and put them into the normal grind stance again. It would help with the speed and be a useful repurpose of an existing animation.

Another thing to talk about is the glider section. This part sucks to fly through normally which I did to get the points. If you don't care, you can just fly over everything. Just don't try flying below the debris because there is a kill plane near the bottom that is very easy to hit.

Lastly, the large tornado grind rail SUCKS! The problem is that the debris comes at you seemingly at random, making you lose all your rings. Either the debris needs to be removed or be way more obvious. After losing my rings to it several times, I started just doing a back and forth switch at the end of the three rails because it seemed to work.
