Welcome to my playthrough of Sonic Rivals 2,

Sonic Rivals 2 is a sequel to Sonic Rivals on the PSP released in 2007.

I edited the story to be a little more comprehensible.

So lets get into this story:

We first join Espio the Chameleon from the Chaotix Detective Agency receiving a call from his boss and good friend Vector the Crocodile, who tells Espio that Silver the Hedgehog has showed up out of nowhere and that chao have been disappearing.
Vector wants Espio to investigate if how Silver is connected to the missing Chao, but before they can finish their conversation Silver approaches Espio to see if the chameleon had seen any chao, and after (unconvincingly) telling the gray hedgehog that Espio knows nothing of the chao, Silver runs after Espio.

Somewhere close by at the same time we catch up with Shadow the Hedgehog the Ultimate Lifeform who's being followed by the metallic duplicate of Sonic the Hedgehog: Metal Sonic who via a speaker is acting as a mouth piece for the notorious Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik.
Eggman tell Shadow that he need his help with something that if not checked up on will destroy the world.

Again somewhere else in the same area we find Sonic the Hedgehog the true blue hero of the planet, run into his best friend and genius sidekick: Miles "Tails" Prower.
Tails had heard that a lot of chao have gone missing and now he wants to investigate if Eggman had something to do with these missing chao.

Lastly we meet up with Knuckles the Echidna the lone resident of the floating Angel Island who is tasked with protecting one of the most powerful objects on the planet: the Master Emerald, which he has lost out of sight and is now looking for and specifically looking for Eggman who has had a track record of stealing the gem for his evil schemes.
At this moment the thieving treasure hunter Rouge the Bat swoops in to look what Knuckles was up to and upon learning he was looking for the Master Emerald agrees to help Knuckles look for it while she is looking for the miracle gems of the planet the Chaos Emeralds.


After this Sonic and Tails run into Knuckles and Rouge who after telling Sonic and Tails about the missing Master Emerald are challenged to a race by each other.

We also join back with Shadow, Metal Sonic, Silver, and Espio who ran into each other, and Shadow, knowing that Silver came from the future, demands to know why Silver is back in the present, but Silver starts to be difficult by saying that it has nothing to do with the Ultimate Lifeform.
To this Shadow challenges Silver to a race.

After the race we see that the characters aren't done with just the race and they also challenge each other to an actual fight.

And after this we join back with Tails and Rouge, the bat girl manages to get Tails to tell her where Eggman might be, at this Rouge runs away and Tails runs after her to get to Eggman before she tells the doctor that the heroes are looking for him.

We also join back with Espio who after escaping Silver runs into Metal Sonic which, to Espio, means that Eggman is also involved with the chao, but Espio tries to return to Silver to which Metal Sonic pursues the chameleon.

After these races we run into "Eggman" with our four teams, with the first to arrive being Shadow and Metal Sonic, who since Eggman is communicating through the robot explains to us that the man in front of them isn't Eggman but instead is his descendant from Silver's time: Dr. Eggman NEGA.

While this is going on we join back with Espio who ran back into Silver, who after being introduced to each other we run into Eggman NEGA and since Shadow and Silver's team are both here they compete in who can destroy NEGA's machine first.

And later we run into "Eggman" with Sonic and Tails who confront him about the chao that have been missing but before they can get any concrete information from him.
Knuckles interrupts him to ask about the Master Emerald which Eggman also doesn't tell anything about, this leads into Sonic and Knuckles' team compete to destroy "Eggman's" machine first.

After the boss fight we join back with Espio who tries to sneak up on Silver to see what he's up to.

We also join Sonic and Tails, who after losing sight of the doctor find a weird book page laying on the ground, which tells of an unstoppable monster "Eggman" is researching.

After this we join Shadow and Metal, and Eggman explains that NEGA has some kind of plan for which he needs the Chaos Emeralds, but before Eggman can explain this plan the communication cuts out.

Lastly we join Knuckles and Rouge who come to the conclusion that in order to find the Chaos Emeralds "Eggman" must have a radar to locate the gems, so now they make it their mission to obtain this radar from the doctor.
