Sonic Robo Blast 2 was developed by Sonic Team Junior and published by a 28K Dialup modem. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Dr. Robotnik/Eggman is copyrighted by Sega.

NOTE: This version is 2.1.25, I would not recommend playing this version and focus on the latest (2.2.8). This version of SRB2 was released back in August 2019.

For those that thought Egg Rock Zone had bad level design compared to the rest of the game, this video will demonstrate why that may be the case. Interestingly enough, there are very few differences to the Egg Rock Zone of the past compared to what we have now. Reason being is that this zone has not been redone by Sonic Team Jr. as of yet! As a result, it'll be interesting to see what kind of changes are made and what is kept in after it is all done.

However, that's not to say there AREN'T any changes whatsoever. Some textures have been changed, the visual effects are also vastly improved and enemy design looks a LOT better. It is honestly a night and day comparison in that regard. Personally, I glad that they went back and spruced up this zone before releasing it out to the public.

That being said, there are a few removed areas in this zone. Mainly in the second act right near the end. I feel that the removal of these sections are justified, given how out of place or janky they can be. But it's important to still go over them in this penultimate episode of the Tails Retrospective.
