Skylanders Giants - Chapter 7 Time Attack [8:43 ~ Spyro]
CHAPTER 7: WILIKIN VILLAGE [8m 43s]
And in comes the creepiest chapter of the game. This required more focus on speed than combat - at least up until the boss - and has a more spacious path for combat. That plus the prominence of Magic boosts made me favor Spyro for this run.
Now that I think of it... this layout seems rather similar to Darklight Crypt. More puzzle solving, more world switching, and a more puzzle-oriented boss. If Chapter 4 borrowed influences from Pirate Seas, Chapter 5 from Empire of Ice and Chapter 7 from that, wonder what would be the case for Dragon's Peak if any? :P
Isle of the Wilikins - No problems going in for the switch.
Facadeville 1 - That last Mace Major didn't want to go down without a fight, lol.
Rutherford's Game Room - Oh boy, another mandatory Skystones game. Not a perfect game though due to two stones being taken, but I'm cool with this.
Facadeville 2 - Good move for the second key. Enemy skip worked well.
Planer Plateau - I'm glad that bomb wanted to cooperate for once. Great run, no mistakes.
The Cliffside Path - Lots of risks taken with the passage. Fight went beautifully well. And see, even the second set of crates reminded me of a similar puzzle back at Darklight Crypt and all. Not sure why I went back not long before doing the third set of crates...
Roc's Elbow - Nothing to see here, move along...
The Perilous Coil - Giant bomb go boom. No problems.
Lower Facadeville 1 - Good switch and movement, no problems here.
Kate's Keyroom - Ditto...
Lower Facadeville 2 - Epic fight for the last two keys! Can't see any better for the first two groups. Bark Demons were tenacious as always but even they went down pretty quickly by my standards.
[BOSS BATTLE - CHOMPY MAGE]
Chompy Form 1 - I think that almost stopped the entire run, taking so much of a beating early, but oh well.
Magic Wave 1 - No damage taken during the waves of magic.
Magic Wave 2 - That remote is just beautiful to work with. No irks taken here.
Rest of the fight - Here's where things kind of went a bit questionable with Spyro's use. His spread-fire is most likely to kill off most of the Enfuego Chompies before they could make much of a real impact against the Chompy Mage. But there was still the thought of getting defensive AND aggressive at the same time. At least the waves of magic I endured were done without a scratch, and this was done in 3 repetitions. Good enough for the run at least.
Thank you ^_^
