Sonic the Sketchhog - Endless Running Fun or Pale Imitation

I found my old iPhone 3GS in a tidy up and after digging out a charger - it still works and has loads of interesting Trial versions of software no longer on the App Store. It's hard to film it clearly though due to the touch controls.
This is Sonic the Sketchhog - a fun little Endless Runner that was included as part of the Sonic the Hedgehog 20th Anniversary which also included a trial of Episode 4 and other bits too.
It is a simple game. Tap to jump, tap again to double jump.
Simple game with simple, but oh so cute graphics. These are extra cool as they are based on some of the original sketches (included in the Japanese manual and I include pics of the manual in the video). Sega should probably revisit this style at some point. Maybe a game could start like this and gradually add colour and parallax scrolling etc as you complete levels or pick up items or defeat enemies of something?
I play it badly here as I am playing through the camera viewfinder.
Also apologies that my finger gets in the way of the view. I tried to hook up an AV Out cable but can't seem to get anything to work. Not sure if a controller can be hooked up to keep the screen clear?
I normally play with my left hand at the top left basically obscuring the ring counter but due to the camera position I couldn't so had to try to play from an odd angle!
