Recent builds of RPCS3 seem to have boosted performance of the emulator by a bit. As a result, many games that used to run in consistent single digit fps in my PC now can go above 30fps in some instances, although there are still frame jumps here and there. Sonic Unleashed is one of the games greatly benefited from the new update, although the fps gains for this game is not too much. Still, it's better than nothing. Before that I could barely run this game at all.

Here are my configurations, set up for low-end machines, though high end machine can also apply some of the settings for extra performance gains.
Tested on RPCS3 0.0.15-11871:

+ Game Patches (if you have a high end PC then do not use this section, as visuals will be compromised):
- Disable Depth of Field
- Disable Dynamic Shadows
- Disable Motion Blur
- Disable Real-time Reflections

+ CPU:
- PPU & SPU Decoders: LLVM
- SPU Block Size: Mega
- Lower SPU thread priority
- Enable SPU Loop Detection (will cause audio stuttering in exchange of little performance boost)
- SPU cache

+ GPU:
- Renderer: Vulkan
- Framelimit: Off
- Anti-aliasing: Disabled
- Resolution Scale: 1920x1080 (150%) - for some reason setting to 1080p makes the game a bit more stable for me; otherwise you should still leave this at default.

+ Advanced:
- Maximum Number of SPURS Threads: 4 (very important)
- Relaxed ZCULL Sync (also very important)
- Driver Wake-Up Delay: 200 Β΅s (you should set this up on your own)

+ Debug:
- Use GPU Texture Scaling (reduces CPU works so this is important)

My PC specs:
- Intel Core i5-4460 @ 3.20GHz (4 CPUs)
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB
- RAM: 8GB DDR3
- OS: Windows 10 20H2
