This take was played on a PC running Windows 10.

I got a new gaming PC and wanted to test how well everything plays on it.

I used a PS5 controller thru the DS4Windows program.

This is just a quick tryout with the game's audio only and no commentary.

This is my first time playing this version on PC but I had played R5 or R6 on an old laptop previously. I wanted to gradually see how the game improved as it was worked on by playing the older versions I could stand. I ended up starting here where controller support began after deciding R1-R6 were a hassle. At this point, I didn't know about using dgVoodoo2 to fix the white squares video glitch on modern hardware yet. Luckliy only my first three R7 videos are like this.

In this part I just played Test Stage then part of Seaside Hill until I got a memory access violation which this game is notorious for. The people who work on the game basically figured out due to a buggy engine it is pretty much impossible to fix this issue so we just have to deal with it and reload the game whenever it crashes.
