If you guys decide to do this to your own system, first please remember that the subwoofer ohm value should always be higher or equal to the amplifier/receivers ohm value.
Connecting a lower ohm value subwoofer to a higher ohm value amplifier will not be a good idea, it might damage your amplifier.
PS: This is a passive subwoofer.. it means this sub has no built-in amplifier.
