Sony's recent and official video ad teased and exciting update about the games launching in the first year, speaking to an exact launch window. As we know, at the launch of the Playstation 5, this week on November 12, those lucky enough to acquire the new hardware will be able to play new console exclusives such as Demon's Souls Remake, Marvel's Spider-man Miles Morales as well as GODFALL. The video states that for the first qtr of 2021 PlayStation 5 users can expect Gran Turismo 7, Rathet and Clank: A Rift Apart as well as Returnal and for Qtr 2, users can expect Horizon Zero Dawn Forbidden West.

This news might not seem exciting to some, however it is important to consider the first year of software releases on previous launch hardware. This is truly unprecedented! So in other words Sony is saying in the first 8 months of launching the PlayStation 5 they plan on releasing 7 triple (A) titles. Think about that. Who does that? Frankly no one, as history tells us.
