In less than 24 hours those lucky enough to acquire Sony's flagship next-generation PlayStation 5 console will be basking in the systems powerful hardware features, as well as some really cool software on day one.
However, while the new hardware does bring with it some shiny new next-generation games that can only be played on the PlayStation 5, for the most part, many of the systems game offerings will also be playable on the PlayStation 4 and for quite some time.
With the new PlayStation 5 hardware comes better resolution, including higher and more stable framerates for games, in addition to the unique features sets which accompany the impressive Dualsense controller with its haptic feedback ergonomics, essentially all of this does make for a better more immersive gaming experience.
Yet, for the same games which are enhanced for the PlayStation 5, there may not be a rush to grab the PS5 as many are opting to stick with their current-gen consoles because those enhanced games will still be available of the current system, and for a few years to come according to Sony Interactive Entertainment Vice President Hideaki Nishino.
