Sony Xperia 10 vs 10 Plus | Camera Comparison
We've been testing the camera hardware on Sony's new Xperia 10 and 10 Plus smartphones side-by-side, and here's our full comparison of the photo and video quality, complete with samples.
Making a change for 2019, Sony is now slapping dual lens cameras on the back of its smartphones - something previously only seen on last year's XZ2 Premium. However, the Xperia 10 Plus serves up different optics to the standard model.
The original Xperia 10 sports a 13MP f/2.0 primary lens, backed by a 5MP f/2.4 depth sensor. Meanwhile the Plus changes things up, to a
12MP f/1.75 primary lens - and this is accompanied by an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto shooter, which adds a 2x optical zoom.
Around front however, both Sony mobiles deliver an 8MP f/2.0 selfie snapper.
You can shoot good quality photos with both handsets, although the Xperia 10 Plus captures more natural looking results. As you can see from our samples though, the standard model wins for detail levels. And both devices boast 4K video chops at the new 21:9 cinematic aspect ratio.
