Not only is this the largest video game acquisition of all time, it is also the largest technology acquisition of all time demonstrating just how massive this merger is between Microsoft Gaming and Activision, the world's largest third party video game developer. Ever since this news broke playstation fanboys have been on the damage control war path proclaim absolutely absurd statements like "Call of Duty is Dead anyway" or that no one cares about any of Activision's games which is a complete cope and seethe moment on the behalf of salty playstation fans. Does this mean that PS5 will lose Activision Games like Call of Duty Warzone? Probably not in the short term but no one can say whether or not Microsoft will make all Activision and all Blizzard Games Exclusive to Gamepass Platforms like Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and the PC.
