I do enjoy the works of the author and respect their opinions and actions about getting the most work out of their employment, however, a phrase utilized in response to responses kind of triggered a bit of a ramble in me that I felt necessary to discuss given my work/life situation at the moment.

This video response to a pair of blog posts by Soatok, reading them prior to watching can be beneficial:
1) Article on remote work: https://soatok.blog/2023/10/02/return-to-office-is-bullshit-and-everyone-knows-it/
2) Article in response to internet's response to article on remote work: https://soatok.blog/2023/10/04/i-dont-care-if-strangers-can-take-me-seriously/

In short, the statement that encourage this rambly video was where he indicates that outsourcing is a 'specter', but today I go over how it is a reality. In fact it is a primary reason that I have not been around as much to make my own articles and videos.

Hopefully with this out of my system I can get back into the habit of a weekly upload and more regular articles.

This a different take from another furry on the concept of work from home, its strengths and weaknesses, as well as post-pandemic impacts on corporate logistics.
