"Sound it Out" is a video project I started for my own amusement, and it seems to have taken on a little adventure. In each video, I look at a piece of visual art and make a tune on the violin on the spot to describe it. For this one, I'm playing a fun request from a big fan of Sound it Out on Instagram, Gene Shackman. The artist is Gene's sister-in-law, Yating Liu. When Yating painted this work, she was inspired by Gene's young son that threw a bunch of rubber band onto the floor to play with, hence the name "Accidental Loop.
