Souno's Curse Demo - Kick Off and Explore a Creepy Cave for a Mysterious Reward in this Platformer
36A demo playthrough of Souno's Curse, a platformer game with Metroidvania elements. You play as a pilgrim(?) exploring a cursed cave for unknown reasons and kick everything you encounter into submission, as instead of a steel soul you have steel toes. Hollow Knight and Journey are listed as influences (seems pretty obvious from the design of the protagonist). The demo is very short and ends at the first boss (which you don't even fight).
It looks and sounds good, though I think with what little we see there's still a good bit of curiosity of what to expect in terms of Metroidvania elements and exploration. Movement (and kicking the aerial enemies) felt slightly off at times but that may be keyboard controls being set to keys I rarely play with. Overall, it's worth taking a look and coming to your own conclusion.
