Souris Swinging Bridge 2025
2Welcome to One of many well known attractions in Souris, Manitoba. The Souris Swinging Bridge. A Bridge that is crossed approximately 5,000 Visitors and Residents a year.
The Original Bridge was built in 1904 by Squire Sowden who wanted to improve access to town from his land across the river. Sadly the bridge was over taken in the 2011floods, but that did not flood the residents spirits. Residents rose up and secured funding to rebuild the new bridge, right beside , what's left of the old one still stands today. The world famous land mark opened up August long weekend 2013.
