SOUTH OF MIDNIGHT EPIC PLAYTHROUGH {PART-5}
You play as Hazel Flood, who after a catastrophic hurricane must embrace a magical calling. She becomes a Weaver — someone who can weave magic to repair broken spirits and bonds.
Story Arc
Disaster & Loss
A hurricane devastates Hazel’s hometown of Prospero. Amid the chaos, Hazel’s mother (Lacey) disappears, and Hazel is pulled into a supernatural, folklore‑infused world
Becoming the Weaver & Journey Through Myth
Hazel discovers she has the Weaver power, which allows her to mend what’s been broken — not just physical damage but emotional wounds and family history. She must explore various biomes, confront corrupted spirits / creatures (called Haints), and unravel the threads of her family’s past.
Confrontations & Mysteries
Along the way Hazel uncovers darker truths: her grandmother Bunny has also been involved (through darker magic) in attempts to resurrect a lost daughter (Cherie). Entities like Roux, and a King of Dreams & Nightmares named Kooshma, play key roles
Climax and Resolution
Hazel battles to free her mother’s soul from Kooshma, to stop Bunny’s harmful plans, and to heal the nearly shattered “Grand Tapestry” (a metaphorical / magical framework in the story representing connections, memory, history). Ultimately, she confronts the cost of trying to alter fate, of grief, and of what it means to accept both loss and love
