3So what if I tell you a smaller ship can actually be devastatingly capable, even when the ship it's attacking is a proven killer? Is weight always a factor or just when it reaches a certain point?
Starfleet wondered about that as well. They had ideas on the drawing board in every generation but unlike Starfleet... I can launch and test my ideas in around 2-3 hours. In the spirit of that I introduce the USS Madrid, a smaller interdiction type scout that has enough firepower to take down at least an ambassador class. Fully featured if a bit stripped down capacity wise, it's a sure fire hit for exploration and battles. Imagine a fleet of these things and you'll get the idea.
