Space Engineers - Scorpio salvo GRA mode, curved 360' launch.
I decided to revive my GRA script and came up with a new idea - what if I curve torpedo trajectories instead of firing them straight from hardpoint surface to target? That way I could make less accurate but more dense salvos, and get much wider arc of fire.
The biggest drawback of classic GRA mode (Gravity Reactive Armor) was that you need to expose hardpoints to general direction of enemy, which usually results in a quick loss of said points in close combat. In this new mode, projectiles are simultaneously ejected in all directions around the ship, like smoke screens on combat vehicles, and then they are launched by a gravity vector.
I think it might be worth trying building a heavy combat ship with tanking hammerhead bow (decoys, repair, heavy armor) and launchers hidden in broadsides and aft.
In today tests I even managed to hit an super-agile air superiority drone with this thing, first time ever with any torpedo/missile PMW I tried before - thanks to ultra low reaction time of this setup and bigger AOE volume.
