SPACE FORCE Season 2: Will Netflix give Steve Carell comedy series a chance after mixed reviews?
Hey, guys! It seems that the newest Netflix Original comedy series Space Force has spit the audience into two opposing camps: while some enjoyed every joke, others found it unfunny; while the first camp called it a brilliant political satire, the other one branded it a silly farce. We are somewhere in the middle, and while we do think the show has flaws, we definitely want to see Season 2 of Space Force. What about you, guys? For one, Space Force cast is to die for. Steve Carell, whom we’ve been eager to see after The Office as a lead in a comedy series, co-created the series with Greg Daniels, the man who co-wrote The Office. Oscar-nominated John Malkovich, who we’ve recently seen in a more serious roles in Billions and The New Pope, just reminded us how good he is as at comedy too. And the chemistry and banter between him and Steve Carell is probably the best thing about Space Force. Ben Schwartz, who you probably remember from Parks & Recreations, also gave an impressive performance. Space Force is goofy, grotesque and a little too exaggerated at times, but it has heart. Also, it is very pleasant to the eye, with beautiful cinematography. A few days after the premiere, Steve Carell new show has everyone talking, and while many of those voices are bitter, we do believe Netflix will give Space Force a second chance and renews it for Season 2.
