CONTROL Z Season 2 Release: is Mexican show a new rival for Netflix’s ELITE? Is Javier alive?
Hey, guys! Netflix’s newest Spanish-language teen drama series from Mexico, Control Z has immediately become a hit with viewers across the world. By the way, the show became the 29th Spanish-language scripted series for Netflix, which continues to expand its foreign-language productions. Control Z is definitely a binge-worthy guilty pleasure. It’s like a cross between Elite, Gossip Girl and Mr. Robot. While Netflix is yet to officially announce the renewal of Control Z for Season 2, everything points out that it will happen very soon. First of all, high school TV shows never fail to attract large audiences, and Control Z clearly has momentum on the heels of international success of another Spanish-language Netflix Original high school series, Elite. Secondly, while by the end of the first season, the main mystery was solved, there are still too many unanswered questions. And the show’s creator, Carlos Quintanilla said in an interview that they wrote Control Z with at least three seasons in mind, and they already know where they want to go in Season 2 as soon as Netflix renews the show. Third, we have to know whether Javier (played by Michael Ronda) survives his fatal wound, as Season 1 ended with a major cliffhanger. Guys, what do you think will happen in Season 2 of Control Z?
