If you have an old, sluggish laptop that makes you want to buy a new one, here's how to effectively triple the speed of your system by replacing that internal HDD with a new, faster SSD.

You can also save all your programs and other files by cloning the internal drive to the new SSD via an external caddy. Here's how you can do for just about $100 and less than an hour's work.
