Spelunky 2 7-30 Pacifist Cosmic Ocean Run
3Today I will be reaching 7-30 without killing a single enemy. The only way of verifying a pacifist run is by checking the journal. The problem with Pacifist CO is that it’s incredibly long and you would have to win or die to check the journal entry. On 7-30 I purposefully ended adventure to check the journal. I would’ve gone further, but getting there was already stressing me out quite a bit, so I wanted to stop. In my Pacifist CO runs I usually end up losing it to killing an enemy in CO. I can’t consider the level I killed an enemy in as my PB because there’s always a chance I actually killed an enemy beforehand and I didn’t know. So the best way to verify Pacifist in Cosmic Ocean would be to purposefully die and check the journal. I also did this so that I could verify 100% to myself that I was making progress. In the future, I will be ending adventure in 7-50 to once again verify that I am making progress. After that point, I will not end adventure because I think by then I should be able to make it to 7-99. To be completely honest, I don’t think I’ll beat Pacifist CO anytime soon because there’s a lot of other runs I want to get done. I’ll pretty much only do Pacifist CO when I feel like it. This video is only here to showcase progress and to prove Pacifist CO is possible. I hope you enjoy the video!

Pacifist Rules/Explanation:
1. Don't kill any sentient beings.
2. Critters are okay to kill.
3. Sacrificing is okay in pacifist.
4. Hired Hand kills do not count against you.
5. Pacifist is determined by the game, it is not a set of rules agreed upon by the community.
6. The game isn't perfect, so there are things that may look like a kill but actually aren't kills. For example, throwing and whipping enemies into lava actually isn't considered a kill according to the game.
7. As long as it says, "I was a pacifist" in the journal, the run qualifies as pacifist.
