Spelunky 2 - Pacifist Chain Low% Abzu Eggplant First Clear!
7Today I beat Pacifist Chain Low% Abzu Eggplant! Crazy run. I honestly didn't expect to finish. Got a pretty lucky 2-1 eggplant. I was originally aiming for no gold, but HH picked up gold in 4-4 which killed the run. Ice Caves was kinda rough with only 2 ropes to get the eggplant to the altar. Had to get a little creative. I kinda stopped taking the run seriously after I dropped to 1 heart and lost no gold. However, the run still worked out miraculously. Even if the HH hadn't picked up gold in 4-4, I probably would've lost the run anyways in 6-3 to the pretty much unavoidable gold. Abzu route is definitely easier than Duat, but the Abzu route does require all 4 ropes. 2 are needed for Kingu and the other 2 are almost definitely needed for getting the eggplant to the eggplant altar. Not to mention that the Abzu route also requires 3 bombs to get the Ankh at Olmec. Anyways, this was a fun run and I hope you enjoy the video!

Basic Explanation of the Run:
Pacifist = Cannot kill any enemies. "Pacifist" is determined by the game, not by the community. This means that if something is not a kill according to the game, then it is perfectly valid to do in the run. For example, the game does not consider killing critters a kill. Pacifist is verified by the journal entry upon death or victory. The line "I was a pacifist" must be shown.
Chain = Refers to the "chain" items. These items are the Crown/Hedjet, Ankh, Excalibur/Scepter, Tablet of Destiny, and Qilin. The Udjat Eye is not considered a chain item, but it is optional in Low%. The chain items must be collected for it to be a chain run. Chain is a modifier of Low%.
Low% = You can only use your starting items. (4 hearts, 4 ropes, and 4 bombs.) Expanding upon these resources or using any item listed in the journal is forbidden. Chain Low% follows the same restrictions as Low%, but it allows you to collect the necessary chain items. There are more specific Low% rules here: https://mossranking.com/cat.php?cat=214
Abzu = Refers to the area that is entered by triggering the idol trap in 4-3 and exiting in the under lava door. For Abzu runs, you must collect all the necessary chain item requirements and take the Abzu route instead of the Duat route. The Abzu route involves going to Tidepool, getting Excalibur, dying in 4-3 after triggering the idol trap, and then killing Kingu. The Abzu route is mostly self-explanatory except for the Kingu kill. Kingu is killed by a Hired Help/Hand. You will see in the video how I specifically accomplish these tasks.
Eggplant = Refers to obtaining the Eggplant Crown. This is done usually by sacrificing the eggplant to the Eggplant Altar and getting the Eggplant Child. Then take the Eggplant Child to 7-1 and put him on the altar. Killing the Eggplant King in pacifist is interesting. I will not spoil it :)
Sunken City = This is not specifically stated in the run, but it is implied with the "Abzu" and "Eggplant" modifier. Sunken City refers to reaching the Sunken City and exiting on 7-4 after killing Hundun.
