Today I'm got a Pacifist Low% run complete in 4:09.516. This is the world record as of right now. This run has one of the best paces I've ever been on. 1:19 into Olmec and 2:00 into 4-3. Sadly, I got trolled by Ice Caves and lost some time in 6-3. I'm coming for the sub-4!

Basic Explanation of the Run:

Pacifist = Cannot kill any enemies. "Pacifist" is determined by the game, not by the community. This means that if something is not a kill according to the game, then it is perfectly valid to do in the run. For example, the game does not consider killing critters a kill. Pacifist is verified by the journal entry upon death or victory. The line "I was a pacifist" must be shown. There is also now a pacifist tracker that is allowed when submitting a run. This tracker simply tells the player if the run is still pacifist.

Low% = You can only use your starting items. (4 hearts, 4 ropes, and 4 bombs.) Expanding upon these resources or using any item listed in the journal is forbidden. Chain Low% follows the same restrictions as Low%, but it allows you to collect the necessary chain items. There are more specific Low% rules here: https://mossranking.com/cat.php?cat=214
