My stupid idea today is to accomplish all my goals just by mining gold since gold equals money.This is on hard mode. Turns out progress is much slower than I anticipated. Right away I manage to upgrade my pickaxe and amulet so I can make the most of what little resources I can find. I spend hours grinding my way to unlock new skills like always finding coal from rocks. Once I unlock the quarries the ore spawns itself, from there I manage to create a few mining rods and lighthouses. Everything at that point is automated so all I need to do is wait. In the end over 100,000 coins worth of resources was mined. Forager gameplay with my commentary as always!
