This was found by Zlamp, so it isn't the first time it's been uploaded.
I'm probably going to start running this game more, so I'm hoping uploading some skips and things from the game will start to get people interested in it.
Right now it's just me, Zlamp, and Derpy_Dungeon running it, which is too bad because this game is really awesome.

As for how the skip works, you can swim through corners and walls if you are completely perpendicular to the wall. This is easy because Sphinx angles it by himself when he starts to surface after landing in water.
If you aren't swimming through a water texture, you can swim through the air. This is how I swim above the water to where the teleport is. As soon as you pass above or below a water texture from air swimming, you will "teleport" to water level. However, if you jump fast enough, you can cancel the teleport partway through it.
We use these tricks to skip the whole area, which saves a lot of time.

This is a very glitchy game.
