This game is the sequel to Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions. Only two heroes this time for this game only & they are Peter Parker as The Amazing Spider-Man & Miguel O'Hara as Spider-Man from the year 2099. Welcome back to the somewhat campy Arkham Spiderverse. Repair the timeline back to it's original place with our two heroes or time itself is doomed.

Now we switch back as Miguel O'Hara as Spider-Man 2099. It seems that the CEO knows Miguel's secret identity because of The Amazing Spider-Man's timeline, he wants to have a rewritten past for his mistakes to use the quantum energy, but Miguel believes it's a very bad idea to do that. The CEO however, will not listen to reason but to just dump Miguel in a trash facility. Miguel will not give up that easily. He has to get back up from where he came from & the only way to do that is to use some spiffy machines to reverse the gravity to sling shot back up in the air. He has to dodge some flamethrowers & ceilings since he is going out of the frying pan & into the fire!
