This game is the sequel to Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions. Only two heroes this time for this game only & they are Peter Parker as The Amazing Spider-Man & Miguel O'Hara as Spider-Man from the year 2099. Welcome back to the somewhat campy Arkham Spiderverse. Repair the timeline back to it's original place with our two heroes or time itself is doomed.

We now switch back to The Amazing Spider-Man. Miguel is having trouble defeating the mutation experiments in his timeline. The only way to stop them is that Peter Parker must destroy them in his timeline so that the failed experiments will not come to existence in the year 2099. Peter must get back to the time gateway in order for this quantum causality to be fixed. He needs to get a security guard's pass to move on, even if it means going after the security guard in another portal! It doesn't get any easier than this. However, the Atrocity is following behind him later on!
