This game is the sequel to Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions. Only two heroes this time for this game only & they are Peter Parker as The Amazing Spider-Man & Miguel O'Hara as Spider-Man from the year 2099. Welcome back to the somewhat campy Arkham Spiderverse. Repair the timeline back to it's original place with our two heroes or time itself is doomed.

We now switch back to Peter Parker as The Amazing Spider-man. Something big came out of the time gateway. It the Atrocity & it's huge! It seems that it wants to destroy Peter Parker. Peter needs to keep out the Atrocity outside or else it will break in & wreck stuff. However, it seems to know it's way around the Alchamex building & got inside by reaching the air ducts. Since it's now inside, Miguel needs to have 3 strands of DNA that the Atrocity came out of the time gateway. Peter needs to do that to collect 3 DNA sample of the Atrocity in his timeline, so that Miguel would be able to find a clue and a conclusion in his timeline. The CEO however, has other plans to do something with this quantum causality.
