So here we go, the sequel to Spiderman which I literally just finished on the Deck and absolutely loved and enjoyed from start to finish.
My First thoughts on this game….

The Good :

*It’s beautiful, the city looks even better when swinging around, you have that snowy Christmassy feel and everything looks stunning even better than the last game.
** The swinging mechanics itself is so much better you can now do little tricks and flips while swinging which is sooo entertaining.
*** The combat/Levelling up is more advanced and progressed over the last game so more movesets and fighting styles which also makes it more fun to play and less repetitive
**** I Cannot stress graphically how amazing this game looks, With the introduction of the electricity elements (the enemies and miles) there’s so much more colour in this game and it looks great.

The Bad :

* The Glitches man 😞 I’ve had the game freeze multiple times and then unfreeze and I’ve moved from one place to another and its like ive just teleported there. Be swinging dead straight shoot a web and it goes behind me and turns me around (frustrating as f**k on the Rhino chase at the start)
** Loading times just to start the game is beyond a joke, the screen goes black for ageeeees, twice I rebooted thinking it had froze or not working
*** Frame rate drops. At a few points the game felt like I was playing in slow-mo the FR dropped that much.
****Storyline ain’t as gripping as the first game but and this is a big but I have just started and know the last game started good and got amazing as it went on

For me so far this is a solid game but like I said a few performance issues have made it harder to play than the last one, saying that j am still really enjoying it and having a blast and I’m sure they’ll have an update out soon that patches and sorted out the glitches.

Saying that, people and myself need to realise this is a brand new less than a week old game for the SD and technically a PS5 game being played on a handheld device

Enjoying this game just as much as the first, glitches stop me from giving it a 5 but it is a great game overall
