Spider Man No Way Home New Images Breakdown + No Way Home Trailer 2 Andrew Garfield Predictions
6Alright, so we got new images from Entertainment Weekly that shows off a lot more of Spider-Man No Way Home - stay with me as I take you through them, what they mean for the beginning of the movie and more
So, this first image of Spider Man and MJ falling off of the metal bar in downtown new york comes from the beginning part of the movie where Peter and MJ rush off after Mysterio reveals Peter’s identity to the world, it looks like spidey gets in front of the cameras here and then quickly grabs MJ to rush off somewhere safer
Not a lot going on in that one, but this second image is really interesting, in fact, it comes from a behind the scene shot of spider man and doctor strange interacting in the same scene look doctor strange is crossing his arms in both photos, but the difference is, Spiderman is a little further from Strange, and this new image almost makes it look like spidey is getting ready to swing away from Doctor Strange, so this behind the scenes photo just further reinforces the context of the scene with Spider man leaving the sanctum, likely after the spell takes place
And it’s then when Peter is swinging away in this shot, that the spider verse starts to shift and that’s when we get this shot of Peter falling into the bending reality - which puts these two images in the timeline at the beginning of the movie
It’s because we are getting these new images that I believe we should be expecting a new trailer very soon, the second trailer I can see likely premiering either a week before Eternals, to attach to Eternals when the movie hits theatres, but that means since Eternals premieres November 5 - we can expect that early trailer 2 in the next week or two and if we do not get a trailer in the next week or two, I can totally see us getting some kind of promotional post credit scene for no way home in the eternals post credit scene
Speaking of the no way home trailer 2 - there have been running rumors that both andrew and tobey will be in the next trailer in the “moneyshot” so expect to see both spidermen in the trailer, especially after the leaked set video fo Andrew Garfield asking Tobey if he has web blood and if we don’t see them, we should expect trailer 2 to show off a little more of Green Goblin, and his new suit, hopefully, a little more comic accurate, maybe even show off the entire sinister six team in this film, like Venom, like Doc Ock, Goblin, Vulture, Lizard, Electro, even teasing the return of Mysterio however those mysterio rumors are apparently placing his role in the film as a flashback purely, so mysterio is still dead, but we’ll see some kind of interaction between peter and him that is needed in a flashback for whatever reason - anyway, I’ve heard a lot of rumors about hob goblin being in the film too and if we are dealing with multiverse stuff, it would be cool to see the different spider man villains but spread across different realities, even more so with Jacob Battalon who plays Ned Leeds getting in more of a better shape for the film does show the idea that Marvel is gearing up Ned to become his hob goblin comic book counter part - but i stand firm in believing that it will be just a variant of Ned that Spidey runs into - anyway, trailer 2 should put the focus on the villains, and leave all the heroics for the film, even saving potential new character introductions like Miles Morales, given that FEAST is part of the universe now and Miles was a big part of FEAST in the spider man game, so expect that much from him
