Part 13 of a playthrough of Spider-Man for the Sony Playstation by Activision and Neversoft. Spider-Man sets out to clear his name and defeat the villians that threaten New York's safety.

Deep under New York, Spider-Man finds the hidden lair of the mastermind behind the whole incedent. All that stands in his way are a few corridors with electrified walls and laser turrets. Spider-Man must be careful with his swinging as touching the floor or walls is instant death. The turrets can be destroyed with Impact Webbing, but it's much easier to simply dodge them and swing through.

Once inside, Spidey must close down the valves to overload the undersea base's system and free New York from the green gas. After that, he must take on his old foe, Dr. Octopus.

The battle with Doc Ock is the easiest in the game. Dr. Octopus will his inside a force field and will attempt to attack with his robotic arms. His attacks don't do very much damage and health restoring items are incredibly plentiful during this fight, making it a breeze. To take out Doc Ock, Spider-Man must hit the switches to divert power from the force fields which leaves the not-so-good doctor vulnerable to attack.
