Part six of a playthrough of Spider-Man for the Sony Playstation by Activision and Neversoft. Spider-Man sets out to clear his name and defeat the villians that threaten New York's safety.

After defeating the Rhino, Spider-Man must take to the rooftops in pursuit of Venom. In this stage, the player must keep up with Venom or else lose track of him and fail the mission.

Once finally catching up with Venom, he will challenge Spider-Man to a fight. Venom uses his stealth ability to "teleport" about the stage. If the player gets too close to him, he will either swat Spider-Man, which deals a good amount of damage, or grapple him with a lick attack, which deals less damage. Venom also punishes players who travel too far from him or climb onto the walls. The most effective strategy against him seems to be a "hit and run" tactic in which the player uses jump attacks that lock on to the enemy for quick, but safe, hits.

Throughout the game, there are several hidden costume that Spider-Man can use. Some give upgraded stats or abilities while others are merely cosmetic. One of the latter, shown in this video, is the costume Ben Reilly, the clone of Peter Parker.
