O V E R V I E W:

Step into the world of Spider-Man, the famous Marvel superhero, in this exciting video game for the PS1. Released back in 2000, this game is a treasure for fans of action and adventure.

In this game, you become Spider-Man himself, swinging through the city and doing all sorts of heroic things. But there's a twist! Our web-slinging hero has been framed for things he didn't do by an evil doppelganger, and now he's on the run from the law. At the same time, there's a big problem with slimy aliens called symbiotes trying to take over the city. The masterminds behind this chaos are the bad guys Doctor Octopus and Carnage.

Now, here's where the excitement really kicks in. You'll face off against some of the toughest villains from the comics. Imagine going head-to-head with baddies like Scorpion, Rhino, Venom, Mysterio, and more. The ultimate showdown is against a super-powered Doctor Octopus, who's been taken over by the Carnage symbiote and turned into the monstrous Monster-Ock! This never-before-seen villain is exclusive to the game and serves as the final boss.

Remember, Spider-Man on the PlayStation is a classic that people still talk about today. But, it's not without its quirks. The camera can be a bit frustrating at times, but with a little practice, you'll get the hang of it.

And speaking of challenges, if you're up for some serious gaming excitement, try out the Hard mode. It's not a walk in the park, but that's part of the fun! When you conquer those tough parts, it's super rewarding.

Although we have not covered it in this walkthrough, there’s a hilarious "What If?" mode as well that lets you explore alternate scenarios, along with some fun/interesting/downright frustrating training modes to help you become a master at Spider-Man's skills.
