- Unlike the prequel, due to the fact the Story Mode levels carry all unlockable Hero variants for all weapons, the amiibo lack challenges to clear. Instead, they all give you the pieces of exclusive gear after doing enough matches online. (FYI, you can't order the gear from others through Murch).
- Though now you can take pictures with them, and you can save your gear in them to use on another console.
