This video shows an Inkling arriving in Inkopolis since 2017 before the Octo Expenssion. It happens throughout his story and adventure, that he discovers a disaster before becoming an elite agent for Marie, she who trained David whom she gave him as agent code, MP.

Part 2: Sheriff Officer Richard Teasle arrives in Police Station with suspect orange Inkling for vagrancy. David then finds himself in a prison during his hunger which continued to growl.
