SPORE TUTORIAL: Spore Creatures in Blender

This is a tutorial I've been planning on making for quite some time now, especially since as far as I know there are no tutorials that work for the current version of Blender. At least none that describes how to assign the textures.
Step by step process:
Launch Spore. Load the creature you want to use into the editor. Switch into paintmode, and open up the cheat panel by pressing ctrl+shift+c.
Type in "colladaexport".
Accept the EULA agreement.
Exit out of Spore.
Open Autodesk FBX converter. Put the creature file with the ending .dae in the left hand window. Make sure the destination format says FBX 2013 and click convert.
Remove the previous file and go back into the folder and add the new FBX one. In the pop up menu in destination format select obj. Make sure both bake deformations and triangulate are checked.
Open up Blender
Go into File and select import wavefront .obj
Select the creature file.
Rotate it so it stands upfront.
Change the rendering engine from Blender Render to Cycles Render. Open up the node editor and follow the node map I've provided below.
Set the scene however you like, and you're done!
