Text:
Pleasure it is to hear iwis,
the Birdes sing,
The deer in the dale,
the sheep in the vale,
the corn springing.
God’s purvayance For sustenance,
It is for man.
Then we always to give him praise,
And thank him than.
Dutch translation:
Hoe plezierig is het zeker
om de Vogels te horen zingen,
de herten in het dal,
de schapen in de vallei,
het graan dat opkomt.
Gods leverantie van voedsel
het is voor de mens.
Zodat wij hem altijd prijzen
en zullen dankzeggen.
