Now to finally play through Winter Tundra's normal levels before I fight Ripto and beat the game.

Mystic Marsh's Intro has a bunch of WaterWizards worshiping a fountain. There are also little elephants with snail shells nearby. Suddenly, the fountain stops, causing those Snailephants to grow huge and go berserk.

All of the Talismans have already been gathered at this point. Completing the main task of Winter Tundra's normal levels gives an Orb instead, now. Mystic Marsh's main task has you find out why the WaterWizards' magic fountain stopped working, and then fix so it can hopefully calm all of the beasts down, assuming you let them live long enough, that is...

There are still other Orbs to get here besides the main one.

1). The Professor has lost his pencil, and he just can't be a professor with it. He gives you an egg and puts you through a lengthy trading sequence.
-1. Take the egg to a nest in a tree. A bird will fly by and drop you a piece of fruit.
-2. Take the fruit to a pot. It's a seed that grows into a flower that spits out a rubber ducky. Take the duck to a mother duck and its duckling and the mother duck will spit out a turnip.
-3. Take the turnip to a cooking pot. The pot will spit out a coin.
-4. Finally, take that coin and spit it into the fountain the level's plot revolves around. The coin will release the Professor's pencil. It even GLOWS.
-5. Last but not least, take that pencil back to the Professor, and he'll trade you an Orb for it. Nice trade!

2). Basil the Explorer lost 4 Spark Plugs for his jeep to thieves, a bunch of flying weasels. Chase them all down and kill them to take back the Spark Plugs and have Basil reward you with an Orb.

Now back to the main Orb, once you've reached the upper part of the level, talk to another WaterWizard called Snoozle. He's the one that works the fountain, but he feel asleep. He'll give you an Orb for waking him up (for the moment).

Mystic Marsh's Outro cutscene has the same wizard working at the fountain, but then he doses off and has to have a gong hit behind him to wake him up, and he even bonks him on the head. Then he falls asleep, again...

Looks like this is all Snoozle's gonna be doing for a while...
