Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon: Part 14: Flying, Skating, and Wolf Searching in Enchanted Towers
Enchanted Towers is a very expansive level with two sub-areas and a quirk unique to itself. Henceforth, the main reason my video of this level here is so freaking long.
The residents are purple-skinned sculptors. Pablo tasks you with the main eggjective of meeting up with his friend, Jasper, to blow up a huge statue of the Sorceress. Once you do, Jasper will join your Whirlgig-building crew back at Midday Gardens.
----------
The first thing you'll notice in this level is that it uses Sgt. Byrd's theme song. This is because when you find his hut, here, you can swap Spyro out to use the penguin in the main area!
You'll need James' flying to help out Ooga, an old friend from Spyro 2's Skeletos Badlands who has once again lost the bones of his skeleton friend to nasty lava toads. Get them all back, and the skeleton will be able to dance again, even though Ooga is tired of that now.
----------
Byrd can only be used in the main area, but not in the two actual sub-areas.
The first of these has you help Mowat bring his pet wolf Farley back to him. You have to use the ball Farley has to make him follow you through the long way back to Mowat.
The second sub-area is a skating course and one that's bigger than Sunny Villa's. Hunter teaches you how to do tricks, even though you should know already. Then he'll challenge you to earn some points, then he'll challenge you against him to get more points before time runs out.
Doing these last two tasks give you two more Eggs, but you can also get a Skill Point afterwards by breaking the course record of 10,000 points!
----------
This is another level whose TRUE theme can be heard in the Greatest Hits release of this game, but only in the sub-areas since the main area uses Sgt. Byrd's theme, instead.
