I can't begin to express the pure elation I felt in this moment. Having said since I first saw the Moon in ARR that we'd fight Zeromus and I was *RIGHT*. Not only that, but Zodiark's boss fight was basically Zeromus as well meaning that I was TWICE RIGHT! Zeromus looks soo good in FFXIV and it's such a fun fight! Even the harder version is a joy to fight but I don't have any video of that.
The XIV version of the boss theme is also excellent and it's transition to Red Wings is great. This is just the kind of stuff I enjoy a lot. Pure Final Fantasy fan service. FFXIV could been so much better if it just... wasn't what it is... But yes, this fight was great, pure joy!
Seriously, seeing them use FF4's TAY moves, which I don't know very well because I've not played TAY but I know of those moves, was pretty rad!
