Quick Test: Star Trek - Hidden Evil
10This is just a small quick video. It shouldn't be taken as a part of my ongoing "Intro & Gameplay" nor as a new start. Well at least not yet. I just wanted to give it a test and record my gameplay to show a friend mainly. I might aim to play this around in November, it all depends on if I can achieve my October plans. I'm sorry I'm still struggling motivational wise with videos. Star Trek: Hidden Evil is a game I've wanted to get running for years, but never succeeding. Luckily, GOG to the rescue as they some year ago released it along with many other Trek games and it works. That makes me so happy. It seems to take place post Insurrection, pre-Nemesis, post-Dominion War I believe.
I love tank controls. For me it's no problem. But I was momentarily confused because I had no idea what keys did what. WASD is movement, QE is strafe, space is attack/use/talk ( no need to RE-ready+aim ) and TAB is inventory. In a way this game reminded me of 25th Anniversary and Judgement Rites. The little I player here, managed to captivate me almost immediately. But it felt janky at the start. I can't say I'm not a huge fan of how the game seems to handle "stages" / "missions", but yeah I enjoyed this little gameplay immensely.
