Which sea creature is better: the squid or the octopus? This Splatoon 2 Splatfest seeks to answer this difficult dilemma. In a series of Turf War matches, my teammates and I try to have the most ink on the ground when time runs out. The stakes are high when we’re united for this important cause!

Team Squid was the obvious choice for me because I think Inklings are cuter than their Octoling counterparts. I don't like how many of the Octoling win/loss poses make the females look like pin-up models. Plus, I think "woomy!" and the other Inkling sounds are cuter. Finally, "squid kid" just has a better ring to it than "octopus kid."

I won 3 matches and lost 1 during this beautiful session. My total win-loss ratio was 19-12 (61%) for this Splatfest, so I'm not surprised we squids won.

Also, happy first anniversary, Splatoon 2!
