Next up, is Circuit Rush and Rainy Foliage - both being races with Metal Sonic.

Circuit Rush is pretty easy up until the end where you have to navigate a bunch of fans. And even though I did that in Drenched Dam, the difference here is that they aren't on the same height, so it's kinda just a slog to get through. It does help you can get shields at the beginning. I'd recommend going either the Bubble Shield or the Elemental Shield so that you can continue as normal in the space sections since like in Egg Rock, you can't breathe.

Foliage on the other hand, integrates the Circuit gametype into a Singleplayer stage where you have to complete a certain amount of laps before Metal. Unfortunately, this Metal does not go easy on you, often taking shortcuts and using his Hover ability. Fortunately for me though, I've been having a lot of fun with Inazuma (which will definitely show once I get to the speedruns). There's a Lightning Shield that you can pick up early in the stage that'll allow you to go a little bit upwards when using Inazuma's *own* Electric Barrier.
