I played #ssxtricky on my Big TV using TWO adaptors - and it's amazing.

This is kind of an impromptu video - i dragged my original XBox out of the closet, where it's been for *years*, inside a rubbermaid storage container, and attempted to get it working.

I got it working.

It's very very fussy. It likes the SSX Tricky disk, but it doesn't like - so far - Wreckless and Burnout 3 (both of these make me very sad, so sad that i may have to go on ebay and see if i can find copies)(and yes, I know there are other options, but i like having the disks) - but it DOES like Silent Hill 2 which makes me SO happy. I have a bunch of other games I'm going to try this weekend.

I'm going to try a couple of different things - I know there's an original XBox emulator - Xemu - which is pretty good, but i also want to see if I can connect the xbox to my video capture device and play through my pc so I can record gameplay properly.

I won't lie, though - playing SSX Tricky on my big screen is pretty amazing. I've played the PS2 version on my big tv and it's blurry and washed out, but on the Xbox it's beautifully clear and bright and so colourful. I love my PS2, but the XBox wins for clarity and colour.
