#ssxtricky SSX Tricky will always be one of my absolute favourite games, regardless of what I may say from time to time. I currently still own versions of it for #xbox , #playstation2 , and #gamecube . The GameCube version is *fine*, but it was lacking all the required buttons to do all the tricks *properly*, so it's definitely not my favourite edition.

I have been playing SSX Tricky since the day it was released - with a few years off here and there - but after playing for a bit, muscle memory kicks in and it's like I never stopped playing it.

I have had my Xbox stored away in a closet for the past few years because the DVD drive was refusing to open and close, so *finally* (a few days ago) I decided to do a quick Youtube search for solutions. I found one: use a paperclip in the tiny hole near the drive bay door and release it. Not only did that work, but it seemed to trigger the console to actually open and close the DVD drive more frequently without being prodded. Yay.

So I threw in some Original Xbox Games, and the first one I tried - this one, SSX Tricky - worked, and as you'll see from a previous video, it worked quite well and I was very happy.

I tried another - Wreckless - my first favourite - a release title - but the Xbox didn't recognize the disk - BOO. Then, Burnout 3 - also not recognized. SUPER BOO. THEN, I tried Silent Hill 2 - it worked! Same with Project Gotham 2 (which I played last night and I'm kind of surprised at how quickly it came back to me and how many of the tracks I remembered well.

I am going to enjoy my Xbox while I can - I know me, I have a tendency to find things fascinating for about two weeks, then I move on... yay #adhd !

This is Eddie (voiced by #davidarquette ) - and here we play the first three tracks : Garibaldi, Snow Jam, and Elysium Alps.

I discovered after recording - using my video capture card purchased on Amazon a while back - that there is a crackling sound all the way through, so I applied a denoise filter in #premierepro and it cleared it up a bit, but if the sound sounds a bit "phase-y" that's why. I'm pretty sure the noise is coming from the XBox, but i'll be trying my #ps2 and #ps3 to see if shows up there as well.

sorry for the novel - i swore i was just going to write a quick blurb.

thank you for watching! See you in the next video!
