Co-winner (with Wilson Wong) of Fullstack's 1702 Cohort's "Nerd Cred" award, Edmond Kotwick's "aeide" (Greek for "sing") is an ancient Greek poetry parser. The app breaks down lines of Greek hexametric verse into its individual syllables and also assigns to each syllable its time length, which enables the user more easily to grasp the rhythm of the poetry. The app uses parsing algorithms that Edmond wrote himself.
