Description:
After the events of the previous game, Rean is now a reluctant war hero for Erebonia's expansionist policies. After a mission in North Ambria, Rean is assigned to be an instructor at Thor's Branch Academy, where he has to teach a new Class VII while enlisting their aid in dealing with Erebonia's era of upheaval.

We're dumped in the middle of the plot like in CS1 and Zero's prologue, which means this may or may not be the timeline shown in the rest of the game.
The Juno Naval Fortress was once the base of the Noble Alliance, but now it's being invaded by Jaegers, archaisms, and the Stalhritter.
The new Class VII, consisting of Juna, Kurt, Musse, Ash, and Altina (isn't she too strong to be a student?), have to traverse the outside of the fortress. Ambush the enemies to better maintain your HP, EP, and CP and make your way to the orbment charging station. Once there, you'll be ambushed in that obvious boss arena.

These bosses are a bit tanky, but can be broken to lower their defense. However, try to end the fight decently healed, since you'll be attacked by another boss with no breaks.

Unfortunately, Innes and Ennea decide that it's beat-up-the-noob day, and Class VII is it.

They can enter enhanced status if they take enough hits, so it's actually better to focus on one at a time so that they don't both enhance at the same time. Unlike in previous games, you'll be shown the HP threshold you need to drop one of them to in order to end the fight.

At least this time, the bosses' plot stamina is justified because of the HP threshold. Duvalie also joins in to complete her team's formation, but fortunately, Rean, Sara, Gaius, Jusis, and Millium show up to save the day.
